About This Performance
Jason McCoy
Racking up multiple CCMA and CMA awards along with a Gold album and CMA Global Artist Award (Nashville), Jason McCoy remains in demand on the live touring circuit, and pulls double duty at morning radio for Pure Country 106. Fans can also tune in Saturday evenings for his Nationally Syndicated radio show, Nothin’ But the Nineties on the Bell Media Network.
As creator and front man of The Road Hammers, the best selling band in Canadian Country Music history, Jason took on the Country Rock genre and guided the band to unprecedented success throughout Canada and the United States, picking up a platinum album, platinum single (MUD), 3 x CCMA Group of the Year, and a Juno along the way….but music is only part of the story….
Equally at home in front of the camera as host of Smashtown (CMT Canada/USA), two seasons of CMT’s Pet Heroes, and Jason McCoy Eats America, Jason has solidified his place in the fabric of the Country Music
industry. Continuing to write and record music, Jason prizes the time he spends with his wife and two children at their home farm, just two miles from the small town of Minesing where it all began.
Chad Brownlee
Hailing from British Columbia, critically-acclaimed and multiple award-winning Canadian country artist Chad Brownlee’s love of the outdoors is very much reflected in the singer-songwriter’s chart-topping songs and infectious melodies. Boasting over 125 MILLION global streams and numerous gold and platinum-certified singles, he has topped the Canadian country Billboard charts multiple times and reached No.1 with his platinum-selling single, “Forever’s Gotta Start Somewhere.” Brownlee’s signature sound blends elements of pop, country, and rock, drawing equal inspiration from the classic country sounds of the ’80s and the modern pop country sounds of the 2000’s.
Having spent the last three years penning tracks for his upcoming sixth studio album, Brownlee is excited to be releasing new music. With a collection of songs recorded and produced by award-winning producers, Todd Clark (Little Big Town, James Barker Band, Dierks Bentley) and Dave Thomson (Lady A, The Washboard Union, Lights, High Valley), Brownlee is poised to make an indelible mark on the Canadian music landscape.
His new single, “They Don’t Know About Us,” is a powerful duet with accomplished vocalist, ANNIKA. Together, Brownlee and ANNIKA deliver a stirring anthem that channels the essence of resilience and determination in the face of doubt. With its bold, confident, and fierce vibe, “They Don’t Know About Us” is a testament to the indomitable spirit of love. It’s a reminder that true love knows no boundaries and transcends societal norms. The kind of love that nothing can stand in its way.
A multi-talented individual, Brownlee not only shines in the world of music but he also holds the distinction of being a former Vancouver Canucks draft pick. He is a dedicated philanthropist and in 2021, he made his acting debut in the Canadian feature film Range Roads.
